Safa is a Clinical Psychologist and psychoanalytically oriented therapist providing services to individuals from all age groups. She has pursued M.Phil. Clinical Psychology from IMHANS Calicut. Her other areas of interest include CBT, Mindfulness training and Behavioural Therapy. She is well versed in various psychometric assessments and is interested in conducting studies among individuals with anxiety and depression. She has a paper publication entitled “A study of emotional maturity and Self Control on Machiavellianism among office workers” in Indian Journal of health and well-being and received Dr. Dipak Bhat award for the same. She also has experience in conducting studies among sex workers. She has a diploma in Industrial Psychology and qualified NET. She also has worked as a teacher in Christ College Iringalakkuda, Thrissur and continues to offer classes to students.
